The urban design for the university campus permeates into the urban fabric of the city of Leoben by offering an unrestricted a ground floor establishing a new network of activities and connections for pedestrians and cyclists between the main square, the river and the train station. This public concept spreads over the roofs of the new buildings, which are connected by a series of bridges.
